Excursions

Athens

Visit the Acropolis, Plaka, Panathenian Stadium, Changing of the Guards (Parliament), the Market in Athens and the flea market at the Monastarak. Dinner in the Plaka at Taverna Byzantino

Paros

Morning tour of Parikia visiting the Church of a 100 doors and the Frankish Castle. Full day round trip of the Island by car visiting all the places of interest – Old Marble mines, villages of Lefkis, Pisa Livadi (excellent lunch at Taverna Stavros), Lagaros,  Naoussa and Kolibithres beach – best beach on the island with incredible rock formations, and Valley of the Butterflies. From Ponta - we will take the car ferry to the island of Anti Paros and visit the old Castle and explore the village.

Naxos

Morning tour of the Frankish Castle the Temple of Apollo and time to explore the village. Full day Excursion by car of the Island visiting Halki and 12^th century church of Our Lady Protothroni, Venetian Tower, Temple of Demeter, Villages of Halki (taste a unique liqueur) and Apollonas for lunch.

Ios

Ios is the island of youth, parties and wonderful beaches. Ios is not the island to go sightseeing, but a place to relax. Explore the main village of Chora the with all its beautiful little shops and Tavernas or visit some of the beautiful beaches. Rent a scooter or car and explore the island the place were Homer is said to be buried.

Santorini

Full day excursion to the Volcano, Hot Springs & Thirassia (and if Akrotiri is open). Full day tour around the island by car with some wine tasting, Visit Oia, Red beach at Akrotiri, Ancient City of Thira, Evening –Our Greek farewell dinner at Taverna Lollos (Optional)

Istanbul

Full day Bosphorus cruise to the Black Sea and also a visit to the Spice Market

Visit the Blue Mosques and the Hagia Sophia. You will also see the Hippodrome, Serpentine Column and the Obelisk. In the afternoon a visit to the Grand Bazaar.

Morning Visit to the Topkapı Palace and the Underground Cistern

The above itinerary includes all the sightseeing tours the Tour Leader will take you on, and the only cost to you will be the actual cost for entrance fee, pro-rate car hire cost and your food and beverages, there is no change for the services of the tour leader.

Excursions and all meals are optional - the Taverns we recommend are all excellent and serve the best  traditional Greek food at very reasonable prices. All meals are a la carte so you only pay for what you eat.

 You are free to decide how you would like to spend your days, so if you want to do your own thing please feel free to do so.

Our day trips around the island are fun and you will not only see places of interest but also get the opportunity to relaxes, swims and enjoy yourself.
